Successful development of a MC-130H/MC-130W Fuselage Trainer (FUT) for FlightSafety.

This Fuselage Trainer (FUT) was designed by Shen Te Enterprises Inc. and Simair LTD to be converted easily between a MC-130H and MC-130W aircraft configuration. This was accomplished using state of the art touch screen technology for quick aircraft main instrument panel changes and cargo panel operations by using a selection icon on an Instructor hand -held touch screen device. Communication improvements over the actual aircraft were improved using a newly designed communication system that was adaptable with any aircraft headset plugged in over long distances.

The cradle design was cost savings and safety implemented to ensure complete landing gear training of any type could be accomplished easily without risk of aircraft damage or maintenance personnel risk.

The FUT was delivered on time and within projected cost constraints and resides at Cannon AFB in New Mexico.

Successful development and fabrication of AC-130H and AC-130U Battle Master Consoles for delivery to Lockheed Martin.

The AC-130H and AC-130U sets of Battle Master Consoles (BMC) designed by Shen Te Enterprises Inc. and Simair LTD consisted of a simulated TV Sensor crew station, Navigator/FCO crew station, and I/R Sensor/EWO crew station. Each station replicated accurately the size, seating, functions, and panel layout of all the stations. All the stations were modeled up front using solid modeling technology to ensure proper on-site room accommodations. State of the art I/O racks were used to ensure compact packaging design along with swing out patch panels for ease of maintenance.

The BMC Stations were delivered on time and within cost constraints and reside at Cannon AFB in New Mexico and Hurlburt Field AFB in Florida.

This Fuselage Trainer (FUT) was designed by Shen Te Enterprises Inc. and Simair LTD to be converted easily between a MC-130H, MC-130E, and MC-130P aircraft configuration. This was accomplished using state of the art touch screen technology for quick aircraft main instrument panel changes and cargo panel operations by using a selection icon on an Instructor hand -held touch screen device. The FUT was the first of its kind in multiple cargo trainer conversion technology and was accomplished using a fast Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with a distributed I/O concept.

The cradle design was cost savings and safety implemented to ensure complete landing gear training of any type could be accomplished easily without risk of aircraft damage or maintenance personnel risk.

The FUT was delivered on time and within projected cost constraints and resides at Hurlburt Field AFB in Florida.
